Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pele and a former international for Brazil, has passed away.
At the age of 83, he passed away on December 29, 2022, after a protracted fight with colon cancer.
He, who captured three World Cups with the Selecao, has been waging a protracted battle with colon cancer.
